Service Standards
What you can hold us to on paid cleaning work: how your file is handled, what we check before it goes back to you, what is out of scope, and when you get a refund.
1. How Your File Is Handled
• You send the file by email to hello@smartdataai.ai, or by a share link from your own storage if you prefer. Forms on this site do not accept files.
• The file is used only to do the work you ordered. It is not shared, sold or used for anything else.
• It is deleted within 30 days of delivery, or sooner if you ask.
• Send only the columns the job needs. If a file contains data you are not allowed to share, do not send it; use the free browser tools instead.
• We work on files only. We do not ask for logins to your CRM or other systems.
2. What We Check Before Delivery
• Every change is logged. You receive the cleaned file, a cleaning report and a change log listing each removed row and each changed cell.
• Rows reconcile. Rows in, minus logged removals, equals rows out.
• The log is verified. The original, the cleaned file and the change log are run through our verifier, which fails if any difference is not explained by the log. The same verifier is in the free download, so you can run the check yourself.
• Uncertain values are not changed silently. Dates that could be read two ways, records that share an email but disagree, and phone numbers we cannot recognize are listed for your decision. Where a judgement was made, the report says so.
• A person reviews the result before it is sent.
3. Scope

✗ A guarantee that an import will succeed in a system we cannot see
✗ Legal advice on what data you may hold or send
If your file needs something outside this list, ask first. We will tell you plainly if it is not something we do.

The clock starts when we have your file and any answers we asked for. If we expect to miss a time, we tell you before it passes and you may cancel for a full refund.
5. Refunds
• One-time services: a full refund any time before we deliver your cleaned file.
• After delivery: if the file does not match what is listed for the service you bought, email us and we fix it at no charge.
• Data Care Plan: cancel any time by email. The plan stays active to the end of the period already paid for, and that period is not refunded.

6. If Something Is Wrong
Write to hello@smartdataai.ai with the row numbers concerned. Because every change is in the log, a disputed value can be traced to the rule that changed it and put back.
