SmartDataAI ("we," "our," or "us") operates smartdataai.ai (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our free browser tools and when you buy one of our paid cleaning services.

1. Information We Collect

Free tool data: Data you paste or upload into our free tools (CSV files, text, JSON, lead info) is processed entirely in your browser. The writing and scoring tools on this site (Cold Email Generator, ICP Generator, Lead Quality Analyzer) also run locally in your browser on built-in templates and rules — no tool on this site sends your input to an AI model service. This data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Files you send for paid cleaning: If you order the one-time cleaning service or the Data Care Plan, or request a free sample, you email us your file. We receive that file, your email address, and anything you write in the message. See Section 4.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email address, the product you bought, and the amount paid. We never see or store your full card number.

Usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and session duration. We also record that certain actions happened, such as a tool being run, a file being downloaded, or a form being sent. These events carry the name of the action only. They never include the contents of your files, file names, or anything you type into a tool.

Messages and inquiries: If you email us or use the inquiry form on our Hire Data Help page, we keep your name, email address, and message so we can reply. The inquiry form does not accept file uploads, and form submissions are stored by our website host.

Anonymous summaries of requests: From time to time we publish summary statistics about the requests we receive, for example how many came from each type of system, typical file sizes, and budget ranges. These summaries contain counts and percentages only. They never include your name, email address, company, message, or any detail that could identify you or your request.

Partner applications: If you apply to our referral program, we keep the details you send so we can review your application and, if accepted, pay commissions to you.

Cookies: We use cookies for analytics and advertising. See Sections 5 and 6.

2. How We Use Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or share the contents of files you send us.

3. Free Tools: Processed in Your Browser

All of our free tools run client-side in your browser using JavaScript — including the Cold Email Generator, ICP Generator, and Lead Quality Analyzer, which generate drafts and scores from built-in templates and rules on your device. No tool on this site uses an AI model or sends your input to a model service. The files and text you put into them never leave your device, and we cannot see them.

4. Paid Services: How We Handle Your Files

When you email us a file for a paid order or a free sample:

• Purpose: we use the file only to clean it and return it to you. We do not use it for marketing, we do not contact the people listed in it, and we do not use it to build any database of our own.
• Access: only the team members working on your order open the file.
• Storage: the file is held in our business email account and in the working storage we use to clean it.
• Retention: we delete your original file and the cleaned copy within 30 days of delivery. Email us at any time to have them deleted sooner.
• Sharing: we do not share your file with anyone, except service providers that store or transmit it for us (such as our email provider) or where the law requires it.

Your file may contain personal information about other people, such as your contacts or customers. You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to share it with us for cleaning. We handle that information only on your instructions and only to deliver your order.

5. Google AdSense and Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google AdSense uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other sites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for functionality, Google Analytics cookies, and advertising cookies for Google AdSense. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though some features may not work.

7. Service Providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the Service: Stripe (payments), Google (analytics and advertising), our email provider (messages and files you send us), and our website host. Each handles information under its own privacy terms.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Free tool data is processed locally and never reaches us. Files sent for paid cleaning travel by email, which is not end-to-end encrypted, so please do not send information you are not permitted to share or that needs stronger protection than email provides.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to delete a file you sent us. Email hello@smartdataai.ai and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy periodically. Changes are reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
