Data Workspace

One guided flow for a messy CSV or Excel file: see what is wrong, choose the fixes, review every change before you accept it, and export the cleaned file with a full record.

🔒 How this works: rule-based cleaning that runs in your browser, on your own computer. No AI model, no file upload, no ads on this page. Anything the rules cannot decide safely is left unchanged and shown to you; the few judgement calls they do make, such as reading a date column's order from its other dates, are listed for review.

What the workspace does

Import — CSV, TSV or Excel (.xlsx), by drag and drop, file picker or paste.
Analyze — a 0–100 quality score from five measurable problems, and the type detected for each column, which you can correct.
Clean — suggested actions with the number of rows or cells each one would touch. You choose which to run.
Review — a spreadsheet preview with changed cells highlighted. Dates that could be read two ways, duplicate emails whose rows disagree, and other uncertain changes wait for your decision. Any highlighted change can be put back to its original value, and the decisions you make while reviewing can be undone and redone.
Export — the cleaned file as CSV or Excel, a quality and cleaning report, a line-by-line change log, and an audit record with file fingerprints.

What it does not do

It does not check whether an email mailbox exists, find fuzzy duplicates such as "Jon Smith" and "John Smith", or repair broken text encoding.
